When her parents purchased a farm shortly after, her competitive career was underway. As a teenager, Beth earned top honors from the Royal Conservatory for singing, but her love of horses won out.

Mac Cone is one of Canada's most experienced riders having been a steady performer at the international level for over 30 years. In 1974, he married Canadian Brenley Carpenter and the couple has two daughters. Originally from Tennessee, Mac moved to Canada in 1979 and is the only rider to have competed on both the United States and Canadian Equestrian Teams.

Eric Lamaze made history when he became the first equestrian athlete to win an Individual Gold Medal for Canada with his feisty stallion, Hickstead. The incredible feat came just two days after Canada claimed the Team Silver Medal at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. Lamaze was ranked the number one show jumping rider in the world at the end of the 2008 season, a feat he accomplished again in 2010 and 2011.

Ainsley Vince began her competitive career at the age of 10 under the guidance of Susan Pritchard. She was one of Canada’s top equitation and hunter riders for many years, capping off her junior career with the CEF Medal and Hunt Seat Equitation Championship at the 1994 Royal Horse Show as well as a second place finish in the prestigious AHSA Maclay Medal Final at the 1994 National Horse Show.

Born in Normandy, France, Yann Candele’s parents encouraged he and his older brother to actively pursue sports. Once Candele tried riding at the age of ten, horses became his main focus and within two years he was competing. A promising junior rider, Candele was twice named to the French team for the European Junior Championships, an international event for riders’ aged 14-18. Competing throughout Europe and sponsored by Samsung (France), Candele got his first taste of the big time.

Mac's initial involvement in horses began in Manitoba, where he competed successfully as a junior rider in both the hunters and jumpers. Following his first year of university, Mac moved to Ontario and worked with such industry experts as Kim and Gord Kirton, Anthony D'Ambrosio of New York and Mac Cone. Turning professional in 1988, he took a position with an Ottawa based stable under the guidance of Ian Millar.

Christopher Delia of St. Catharines, Ontario began competing on the 'A' circuit at age eleven. Chris spent much of his youth training and working with some of the best coaches in North America including Missy Clarke, Torchy Miller, Jeffery Welles and Tim Kees. During his time with Torchy, Chris and his High Amateur jumper, "Harp", went on to win numerous Championships in Bromont, Collingwood, Spruce Meadows and the Royal Winter Fair for many years.

Born in Sydney, Australia, Belinda Trussell spent her childhood living in such diverse places as Indonesia, Singapore, Hong Kong, the Philippines and Atlanta, Georgia.
In 1987, Belinda moved to Toronto, Canada, where she competed at the Young Riders level. She retained her Australian passport and represented her native country in all Young Riders competitions until 1994 when she became a Canadian citizen.

Born June 6th, 1982 in Hamilton, ON, Carly began riding at young age. Her passion for the sport began when a neighbour lent Carly a black and white pony named “Mootsie”. Carly successfully competed in the Pony Divisions before moving into the Junior Hunters and Jumper Divisions. As a 15 year old Junior, Carly won the Junior Medal Finals, Quebec City Hunter Classic and many other championships.

Farm: Lothlorien
Lothlorien is operated by both Sue and her husband John. The farm is comprised of 500 acres, a large amount of which is farmed and planted with various crops, and the remainder being dedicated to the horses. It has several paddocks and run-in sheds, riding trails, a walker, treadmill, hydrotherapy machine, water treadmill, track, two indoor arenas, a sand ring and a grass grand prix ring with several natural obstacles. There are a total of 59 Lothlorien owned horses at the present time, consisting of standardbreds, broodmares, stallions, young horses as well as the horses that are currently showing throughout North America with Yann Candele. In addition to this, there are two Lothlorien horses with Millar Brooke Farm who are currently competing with Ian Millar.
