Testimonials - Letters

The following are actual letters received from our clients:

  • I find daily supplementation for all my horses with TRI-ACTA (joint supplement) has proven without a doubt to insure more durable and increased longevity of major stress bearing joints and has been an unquestionable factor in the success of potential champion turf mare Classic Stamp and multiple stakes winner Mulligan The Great.

    This stuff really works

  • Last year we almost lost one of these horses to EPM and believe that with the help of your product, he was able to still have a racing career. We have also noticed with our 2 year old, a superior performance compared to ones in the past. For example: no heat in their legs, good knees and a sound back.

    Thank you

  • Dear John,

As per our conversation I am sending a note to thank you for the success we've have enjoyed with the help of your product TRI-ACTA.

We first brought the product into the barn to help one of our elderly broodmares 'Bravo All' who was 20yrs old at the time. She was in her late stages of pregnancy and was in a great deal of pain in her back hips with arthritis. We treated her with bute and had to restrict her turn out to the barn only. This was unacceptable to us as she had worked hard for us, so I ask our broodmare manager to search for new products and I kept looking as well.

We soon came across TRI-ACTA and decided to give it a try with her as well as a few other broodmares that had some ankle issues. The product was recommended by Laurie Kenny and Mike Keogh.

'Bravo All' seemed to improve a little but was still unable to get up on her own by the time she foaled. It was feared that her condition would continue to deteriorate and she would have to be euthanized after the foal was born. After the foal was born, to our delight she only needed help getting up once. After this she was able to nurse her baby like any other mare. We just had to baby her a little with turn out blankets as well as one while she was inside. We had to tie up the sides to make nursing possible. I truly believe that had we not found TRI-ACTA for Bravo-all, she would not be here today. She continued to get stronger everyday and really improved after she was weaned.

One of my happiest days was this past spring when I rode by 'Bravo All' and she decided to run along beside us and started to buck and play. She can now also go into paddocks with hills, whereas before they had to be perfectly flat. She is now 22yrs old.

With the initial success of TRI-ACTA we made the decision to become proactive with the product so I called up John and told him that we wished to put all our horses on the product from weanlings up. We feel that its made a difference with our horses.

A good example would be our Queens Plate Champion Niigon. When Niigon was still a foal at his mother's side he was a little rambunctious playing with the boys and sustained a minor chip in his back ankle. He had it removed easily enough. He went right onto TRI-ACTA after he was weaned. Niigon has raced since he was two and as a three year old has faced a tough racing schedule. Through it all the colt has been perfectly sound. I would like to think that the diligent management of trainer Eric Coatrieux and the use of TRI-ACTA has had something to do with that. We look forward to Niigon's four year old season with great optimism.

The final area that I have introduced TRI-ACTA is to my warm bloods. I own jumpers under the training of Eric Lamaze. Earlier in the season I met up with John in Palgrave and I was down and I told him my grand prix horse was hurt. I told him not serious just a strained tendon, enough to keep him out. John handed me a canister of tri-acta and said you need to try this on him. I wasn't sure why I hadn't already done that, but those horses are already very well managed. I went to his groom Jerome and he said he would give it a try. Three weeks later Pulque was competing, his groom said his ankle was tighter now then before his injury. There is no proof that it was 100% TRI-ACTA but in this case I truly believe it was the combination of a great product, a wonderful groom and the always safe management of Eric Lamaze.

Pulque has just finished winning the $50 000 Canada Cup Final in Palgrave and a $25 000 grand prix in Spruce Meadows in September. He's now preparing for the Royal.
